Online Purchases

When you purchase online or by telephone, you have 14 days to contact us for a refund, starting the day after you receive your goods. We must then receive your items back within 30 days.

We will give you back the amount you paid for the item including any standard delivery charges* (or you can request an exchange). The original postage cost is only refunded when you return all items in the order. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your returned items, but we aim to refund within 5 days. You must return the item to us as soon as reasonably possible at your own cost, unless the products are faulty in which case we will refund the cost of return delivery (or arrange a UPS label for you to return the items to us). Please make sure that the labels are still attached, and that the product has not been damaged, soiled, used, or washed in order to gain a full refund. 

Please note that refunds can only be processed to the original purchaser via the payment method used during the original purchase.

Proof of purchase will be needed in order to progress any returns or exchanges. 


Faulty Items

Everything that is made by Billingham is carefully checked to ensure that it meets our high standards before it leaves us. However, in the event that your product is faulty, you have 30 days to return your item for a full refund from the day after you receive your order. After 30 days, we will repair or replace in line with our warranty policy.

Items Bought From Retailers

Please note that if you want a refund or exchange on an item bought from a retailer, instead of us direct, then you will need to contact that retailer to organise this. It is also a good idea to keep any receipts or invoices as these may be needed in the event of a claim against our five year guarantee. 

 

*Standard delivery charges refer to the standard cost of shipping upon checkout. We will not refund any extra cost requested by a customer for premium delivery.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Customers sometimes assume that they must return their items by UPS - this is not the case. You may return by any reasonably speedy shipping method (methods that arrive in less than a month). We do recommend using a method that is tracked and insured though as we can only issue refunds or replacements for items that we actually receive back. 

    If seeking to return by UPS OR Fedex the full recommended retail prices or their services are often extremely expensive (several hundred dollars) but there are many websites reselling their services at vastly discounted rates.
  • When placing an order customers outside the United Kingdom may get charged taxes or brokerage fees on the import of items into their country. The customer will be responsible for paying these taxes and fees and may have to make payment for them before the courier will hand over the goods (although sometimes the request comes in the post later).

    Please note, if an item is refused by the receiver, any taxes & brokerage fees will still be due and therefore will be deducted from your refund, in addition to any return carriage charges to get the item back to us in England. You can find more information on our delivery page.
