We offer a limited customization service to expand our range beyond the standard options available.

All custom-made bags are non-returnable and non-refundable, but they are covered under our 5-year manufacturer's guarantee, which covers repairs needed due to defects in workmanship or materials.

You cannot place an order for a custom colour or customized bag through our website. If you are interested in this service, please contact us here, and we will advise you on how to proceed. Custom orders cannot be taken over the phone or in stores.

Please note: The customisations listed below are the only ones currently available. We welcome suggestions for future customizations from our customers. However, please understand that we are unlikely to implement such requests in the near term. In particular, altering the design of our bags is a significant undertaking that often requires input from a designer and multiple prototypes to perfect, making it cost-prohibitive at the prices listed below. We ask customers to consider this if they might feel offended by a refusal.

Custom Colour Service

This service allows you to order a bag in a colour combination that we already offer in another bag, even if that specific colour is not typically available for the chosen model. There is an additional fee of £75 ex VAT (or £90 within the UK, including VAT) on top of the normal cost of the bag. We can produce any of our current bags in your choice of the following colour combinations:

Please note we sometimes have to pause this service if the factory is very particularly - in this scenario we will not be able to take your order. Availability of this service may also be limited by shortages of materials.

All custom colour bags are non-returnable and non-refundable and must be paid for in full before we will begin production. When we do offer the service manufacture usually takes 3-4 weeks. Therefore if you do want this service please order in good time.

This service is only available direct from Billingham - not through retailers. Although if we have produced that bag in that colour in the past some retailers might have stock - in that case it would be best to order from them rather than wait for us to make it.

From previous investigations we know the following extra conditions apply:

• 7-Series bags (207 and 307) can only be made in FibreNyte.
• The 72, Thomas Briefcase, Weekender and Overnighter bags can't be made in Imperial Blue Canvas.
• Our fabrics are 3-layers bonded together (for example Khaki Canvas bonded with butyl rubber to Olive polyester). This bonding process is only economic in bulk. Therefore we can only offer the lining colours mentioned in brackets above.
• Extra limitations might arise during discussions for bags that we haven't made before in the colour chosen - usually due to availability of the lining fabrics that would be needed for particular bags.

Longer or Shorter Shoulder Sling Service

For customers who need a longer or shorter sling we can offer that - although you should note that all our straps are adjustable to some extent already, you can see more information on the individual product pages.

The bag (or sling) will be manufactured fresh with a longer or shorter sling as you require - 30cm extra seems to be enough for most taller people. Here are the additional costs (added to the standard cost of the bag or sling):

We do not alter the width of slings - we only alter the length.

Longer or Shorter Waist Strap Attachment Service

For customers who need a longer or shorter Waist Strap Attachment we can offer that - although you should note that these are adjustable to some extent already, you can see more information on the product page.

The Waist Strap Attachment will be manufactured fresh with a longer or shorter length as you require. The cost for this is £20.00 (+VAT in the UK) on top of the standard price.

As the item would be manufactured especially for you it would non-returnable and non-refundable and must be paid for in full before we will begin production. Manufacture usually takes 3-4 weeks but may take longer if we are busy. Therefore if you do want this service please order in good time.

We do not alter the width of straps - we only alter the length. Also please note that the final fit is intended to be loose, to keep the bag close to you without being tight around your waste.
