What is the difference between the Hadley Small Pro and
Hadley Small?

The Hadley Small Pro and Hadley Small have the same internal
padded insert and capacity (3.5 litres in main compartment). The Hadley Small Pro has the following additional features:

  • Top handle with leather underneath
  • Luggage trolley retainer strap
  • Removable shoulder sling
  • A rear, weatherproof zip pocket
  • Veined front straps (instead of stitched)
  • Ability to add optional AVEA 7 End Pockets

The Hadley Small is ‘minimalist’, excellent for street photography, whereas Hadley Small Pro is ideal for travel and has very handy features.

What camera gear can I fit into the Hadley Small Pro?

You can find an example of camera gear if you scroll down to
the 'What Does It Fit?' section.

Does this bag have a removable padded insert?

Yes. The Hadley Small Camera Bag includes the Hadley Small/Small Pro Padded Insert, along with two vertical dividersand two horizontal flap dividers.

The insert is secured inside the bag with a press stud, allowing it to be easily removed when you want to use the bag for purposes
other than carrying camera equipment. The dividers attach anywhere within the insert using Velcro®, making it simple to customise the internal layout to suit your gear.

Made from dense, fabric-covered closed-cell foam, the insert
is both flexible and highly protective, providing cushioning on all six sides, including the lid, to help keep your equipment safe during transport.

Is there place for an iPad or laptop in the Hadley Small Pro?

There isn’t a dedicated pocket or area in the design of the Hadley
Small Pro. However, there is space between the back of the removable, padded insert and the internal back of the bag to put up to an 11” iPad. We recommend putting a case on any device placed here however to ensure sufficient protection as the back wall of the bag isn’t padded.

What AVEA End Pockets fit the Hadley Small Pro?

AVEA 7 End Pockets can be purchased as an optional extra. Clip onto the strong leather side panels at either end of the bag, they can add storage or help with organization to keep everything easily accessible when you need it. They are sold singularly
and you can choose to add one or two End Pockets to your Hadley Small Pro.

How do I use the Quick Release Straps?

Simply push the straps up-and-off the brass clogball to release. The front straps are made of real, top-grain leather that are tightened when the bag is first made to help with the longevity of the leather.
Over time, the leather will soften and with a little practice you will be able to open the bag one-handed, whilst wearing it.

The buckles are only for occasional fine tuning the fit of the main flap on the bag, you do not need to use the buckles every time you open your bag. Replacement straps are available to purchase separately should you need to in the future.

A luggage trolley strap on the back of the Hadley Small Pro allows for easy, safe travel through a busy airport or city. This bag is discrete and slim, the perfect travel companion.
